During this day long retreat, participants will explore paint with fabric and materials from nature as we create a group pathway way to lead ourselves and our horses through with hopes of spring. Activities will include themes of renewal, healing, grounding and rejuvenation after the long winter with therapists and horsewomen Sarah Kiani and Molly DePrekel. 

Some activities will include: Connection  with nature, self, growth and spring   

Creative materials and pathway creation

Maypole decoration and dance

Celtic right of spring Ostara with a fire 

Mindful interactions with horses including

Exploring personal connection with horses though sound, creative movement and meditation

Sarah Kiani is a performer, writer and therapist. She is founder and director of Hope Tree Counseling Services and Innisfree Farm. Sarah is a licensed counselor and is certified in Equine Assisted Mental Health. She specializes in working with nature, horses and humans to promote growth and healing. Molly DePrekel, MA, LP is a psychologist in private practice at the Cairns Psychological Services, Amidst the Trees (Amidstthetrees.com) and Hold Your Horses. contact molly@cairnshealing.com    Molly received her MA in counseling and psychological services from St. Mary’s University. She holds a certificate in EMDR, Yoga Calm, Yoga, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and has utilized the unique relationship people have with animals and nature to assist her in therapy for over thirty years. Molly has facilitated workshops, taught internationally, and volunteered with numerous organizations in the field of nature-based healing. And animal therapy. She has authored manuals on 5 book chapters on the topic of Animal Assisted Interventions and Equine therapy.
