Spiritual Direction
Spiritual Direction is an ongoing relationship with a director who is trained in the art of spiritual listening, to nurture a deeper relationship with the spiritual aspect of being human in relationship with the divine. A space is created for one to learn and grow in their spirituality, which can impact all areas of life. Persons seeking direction share stories of their experiences of the divine in daily life. Directees typically meet with their spiritual directors monthly for one hour.
Group Spiritual Companioning
Group Spiritual Companioning is a spiritual direction process used in a small group. During a monthly 90 minute meeting, the group engages in shared prayer and silence as each person shares some aspect of their life with the group and the group offers responses with the aim to help the sharer go deeper into unpacking the significance of their experience. The group members serve as wise guides for each other and the group forms as a whole over time.
Integrative Life Coaching
Integrative Life Coaching seeks to help you make empowering choices and to support you in taking action on those decisions. Life coaching usually includes a time limited commitment of 10-12 weekly sessions with a coach who supports and follows the goals and the agenda of the client relative to a specific project, life transition or goal. A coach will help focus the client’s goals for each session, work to identify and deal with obstacles along as well as addressing other life experiences that might be impacting your life.
The International Coach Federation defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” A coaching relationship provides a space for people to explore questions related to overall balance, fulfillment and obstacles to their thriving in all aspects of life.
