Holy Saturday Meditation, April 19, 9:00AM-10:00AM, In Person
Free
9:00-10:00 am, April 19, 2025 Chapel Atrium
In the Christian liturgical tradition, Holy Saturday, the day between our commemoration of Jesus' death and the celebration of his resurrection, is a day of emptiness, of great silence. We enter into that silence through our time of prayer which includes a short reading, two 25-minute sitting meditations, and walking meditation.
Deborah Chernick completed the Essential Teaching Workshop from the World Community for Christian Meditation and serves on the board of the Trust for the Meditation Process.
Susan Oeffling, CSJ, completed the Essential Teaching Workshop from the World Community for Christian Meditation, has master’s degrees in theology and counseling, and spiritual direction training from the Center for Spiritual Guidance.
