Advent Day of Contemplative Prayer
On this first Saturday of Advent, we will gather for a day of contemplative prayer engaging in several practices including Lectio Divina, sitting and walking meditation, chanting, and mindful movements. There will also be a short teaching and time for personal reflection. The day will be spent in silence.

Patricia Jones is a spiritual director, Psychologist Emeritus, and former Benedictine.
Deborah Chernick completed the Essential Teaching Workshop from the World Community for Christian Meditation and serves on the board of the Trust for the Meditation Process.
Susan Oeffling, CSJ, completed the Essential Teaching Workshop from the World Community for Christian Meditation, has master’s degrees in theology and counseling, and spiritual direction training from the Center for Spiritual Guidance.
