A Journey of Becoming: Growth Through Creative Spiritual Practice, Wednesday, October 9, 6-8 pm, Carondelet Center

$40.00

Wednesday, October 9, 6-8 pm, Carondelet Center, in-person only

Calling on her own experience as artist and poet, Janis shares with us her sadhana, her spiritual practice, that brought forth art and poems during and following the global pandemic. During your time together, she will guide you through a spiritual practice she created and continues to draw upon, to access the inner stories, images, and words, so that we might become conscious of ourselves in this one world. We will delve into the light as well as the darkness—the suffering as well as the joy and that we might partake in the evolution of humanity. Whether you currently have a spiritual practice or are new to the concept, you are invited for an evening of spirit-led writing and/or art expression that you can bring into your own environment for further growth development. No writing or art experience is necessary.

Janis Dehler In 1981, the death of her infant daughter transformed Janis’ life, and opened her to pursuing both deep inner exploration and inquiry as well as studies in spirituality, psychology, body awareness, and energy flow, within and without. These are woven into her art and poetry, which represent movement of energy that is meant to flow. Her passion for writing, art, and spirit dances beautifully within her and in all she expresses. For over thirty years, as a grief counselor and spiritual companion, Janis has supported individuals in the areas of grief, loss, and the healing of body, mind, spirit, and emotion.
