THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED FROM FEBRUARY 20 TO FEBRUARY 24 DUE TO THE WEATHER.
This public talk will explore the unitive and contemplative wisdom at the heart of the teachings of Jesus. We’ll look at the ways the Church has lost sight of Jesus’ own path of transformation, and how we can reclaim and reset it within an emerging evolutionary and interspiritual paradigm today.
Drawing on insights from Christian visionaries ranging from Cynthia Bourgeault to Teilhard de Chardin, we’ll imagine a Jesus-path for the 21st century.
The Rev. Matthew Wright is an Episcopal priest, writer, and retreat leader working to renew the Christian Wisdom tradition within a wider interspiritual framework. He serves as priest-in-charge at St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church in Woodstock, NY, and is a teacher for Northeast Wisdom and The Contemplative Society. Matthew lives with his wife, Yanick, alongside the brothers of Holy Cross Monastery in West Park, NY.
