We know how important community is in bringing our whole selves to flower. And still it can be hard to find or create communities that will welcome us just as we are. This three-part series of guided writing, conversation, embodied practices and other creative activities invites you to discover a deeper understanding of community and what is needed to build it and find belonging in it.
Informed by readings from Mark Nepo’s book, More Together than Alone, and other authors including Robin Wall Kimmerer, adrienne maree brown, Thomas King and Rebecca Solnit, we will together remember and imagine our way into a story of community in which we all belong.
How better to follow-up from Mark Nepo’s spring workshops than to come together in this circle and reflect on the gifts and challenges of community? For community leaders who seek new insights in their role of nurturing community and belonging as well as all who seek their own belonging. Consider joining the program with a partner, friend, colleague or neighbor to share the experience with you.
COST: $45.00 to $95.00 for the series. Offer what you can to support community.
Each session begins with a simple soup and bread meal together.
