And the Darkness Did Not Overcome It by Jan Richardson

Incarnation, according to early church teachings, is not something to believe in, but rather, something experienced. Words are inadequate to its understanding. “The Son of Humanity already exists within you,” says the Gospel of Mary Magdalene.

This four-session course will be understood as a practice period where participants try this ancient way of knowing.

In 1945, a whole library of ancient Christian texts were discovered. We will use three of these luminous texts to explore this way of knowing: The Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Mary Magdalene, and the Gospel of Philip.

COST:  $95.00
