Seeking a way to explore and develop a meditative practice? Join three evenings using the exhibit of one stroke makes a painting: ensō & other zen paintings as a stepping stone to a meditative practice. No experience needed! You’ll experience the impact of focusing on word and image in the process of meditation, explore what triggers the spiritual presence within, and experiment with creating a visual record of your own experience.

COST:  $90.00, includes all materials.

Bob Schmitt is a Quaker and a student and teacher of Chinese calligraphy and painting who lives and paints a stone’s throw from Minnehaha Falls. He began brush painting as a 12-year-old watching public television and has studied weekly with a Chinese painting master for over 20 years.
