Monthly Discussion of Readings on Contemplative Prayer

Tuesdays, September 15; October 20; November 17; and December 15, 2015

7:45 to 8:45 pm (follows Tuesday evening meditation)

Once each month, following evening meditation, there will be a time to discuss the readings about contemplative prayer used on Tuesday evenings.  Writers will include John Main, Eileen O’Hea, Martin Laird, and others.  Preparation is not required.


Deborah Chernick studies the history of Christian contemplative prayer, and serves on the board of The Trust for the Meditation Process.

Susan Oeffling, CSJ
, spiritual director, has master's degrees in theology and counseling, and spiritual direction training from the Center for Spiritual Guidance.

Both facilitators have practiced meditation for many years.
