Let Writing Be the First Conversation of Your Day
Tuesday, March 28, 2017
7:30 - 9:30 am
Our first moments after waking are often our freshest, offering access to our larger consciousness and greater powers of association. When we devote this time to our writing, having our first conversation with the open page, the results can be beautiful and surprising. Come cultivate a morning practice of writing, no matter how much or how little writing you have done. Bring pen and paper and a willingness to explore what it means to be devotional and reverent in your writing practice.
This event is part of The Poetic Coversation of Being Human: A Week with Naomi Shihab Nye.
