Exploring Dreams: Three Conversations with the Psyche
Wednesdays, February 8, 15, and 22, 2017
6:30 - 8:30 pm
“Psyche consists of the conscious and the unconscious, but the critical point is that these are not two separate systems, but rather two aspects of one system, with the exchange of energy between consciousness and the unconscious providing the dynamic for growth and change.”
– June Singer
Dreams come to us for healing and wholeness—our psyche’s gift to us, along with unfiltered wisdom about who we are. These three evenings are designed to give space, time, and a focused process into a conversation between ourselves and our dreams. We’ll explore three doorways of conversation, one each evening: focusing, touchdrawing, and sandplay. We’ll have time to center, time to share our dreams with each other, and time to let the dream speak to us.
What? and Why?—often the first questions we ask of the dream—will be set aside as we ask Who? of our dream and of ourselves. Please bring one or two written dreams to explore. All sharing of dreams and insights is optional.
