PRESENTER: Karen Olson is a public speaker and workshop presenter, a teachers' teacher who has taught hundreds of undergraduate and graduate level teachers-to-be as well as those with years of teaching experience. She develops science and environmental projects and has educated and inspired preschool through college level students in exciting hands-on based science. She lives out her passion for environment and justice issues as a consociate of the Sisters of St. Joseph. Her upcoming book, Common Sense for Common Good, to be published in 2010, relates real life stories of people who have made life-altering choices to create a more sustainable world for all of us.
