Our Mission

Wisdom Ways Center for Spirituality offers innovative programs to explore the spiritual dimensions of contemporary life for women and men and to reimagine and embody all that women can be as agents of transformation in church and society.

More About Us…

Established in 1994, Wisdom Ways invites seekers of all spiritual traditions to the crossways of womanist and feminist thought, ecumenical and inter-religious conversations, Christian spirituality, and social action for justice and peace.

Wisdom Ways is a place for exploring Mystery • story and vibrant conversation • creators of community • environmentalists • deep theological wonder • fulfilling a longing for creative connection to Divine Wisdom • defining a commitment to justice • developing a spiritual practice • connecting science with spirit, space, quiet and reflection.

Programs include conversations with authors and poets, Celtic spirituality, an annual fall soul conference, meditation offerings, presentations by theologians, spiritual practices for everyday living, labyrinth walks, a monthly spiritual spa, a summer peace camp for children, solstice rituals and more. Inclusive of peoples of diverse spiritual experiences, these programs encourage imagination, honor creation, and integrate the voice of the feminine.

"On the hilltop, on the road, at the crossways,
Wisdom takes her stand.
She has built herself
a house, . . . prepared her wine, and laid her table."
Proverbs 8:2, 9:2

Wisdom Ways is a ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, St. Paul Province, who build their ministries around love of God and the dear neighbor without distinction.

Come to Wisdom Ways to learn with others in the ever-widening circle of conversations, explorations and practices that support spirituality within our contemporary culture.
